Lifelong resident.
Ready to serve.
Jonathan Stathakos is the City Councillor for Ward 9, Upper Stoney Creek, elected October 26, 2026.
I am a lifelong resident of Upper Stoney Creek. I know these streets, and I know the families who call them home.
For years I have worked in and around government as a Senior Public Sector Advisor, across economic development, post-secondary education and transportation, and as Chief of Staff to a Member of Parliament. I own a small business. I was raised by a single mother on a fixed income, right here in Upper Stoney Creek, and this community gave me a fair opportunity to get ahead. I ran to restore that promise for the next kid growing up here.
I am here to serve everyone in Ward 9, whether you voted for me or not. My door is open.
